Our Perfume Bar in Munich: Create Your Own Perfume at Schleißheimer Straße
On 9 May 2026, Atelier Inspire opened its permanent Perfume Bar in Munich, at Schleißheimer Straße 74, 80797 München. After a year of workshops in partner venues across the city, we finally have a home of our own: a space designed entirely around the art of making perfume.
A perfume bar, not a perfume shop
You will not find rows of finished bottles to buy here. Instead, you sit down at a fragrance organ, a curated palette of perfumery materials, many of them from Grasse, the historic capital of French perfumery. There, you compose a scent that is entirely yours. One of our founders grew up a short drive from Grasse, and that heritage shapes everything we do: the materials we choose, the way we explain them, and the care we put into every bottle.
What you can book at the Perfume Bar
- Perfume workshops: about two hours in a small group, guided step by step, in English or German. You leave with your own Eau de Parfum and its formula.
- 1:1 perfume creation: a private session with one of our perfume guides, at your own pace.
- Level 2 Masterclass, The Art of the Accord: for those who want to understand how professional perfumers build accords.
- Private events: birthdays, bachelorette parties (JGA), team events and special occasions.
How a workshop works
We start with the basics: how a perfume is built from top, heart and base notes, and why a fragrance smells different on your skin than on a blotter. Then you explore the materials, shortlist your favourites, test combinations and refine until the blend feels like you. Finally, you fill and name your bottle. No experience is needed.
