Berlin - Fleur de Peau (Flower & Perfume Workshop, English)

One evening, two compositions.

A perfume and a bouquet are built the same way. Something that catches you first and fades fast. Something that holds the middle and gives it a character. Something at the base that makes the whole thing last. Perfumers call it a pyramid. Florists call it structure. It's the same idea, and on this evening you'll learn it twice, once with your nose, once with your hands.

For the first time, Atelier Inspire and our partner Snakegarden are hosting together in our Friedrichshain studio. You'll compose your own eau de parfum from 20 raw materials, and then arrange a seasonal bouquet that translates it, your scent, made visible.

No experience needed. Just curiosity and a free Friday evening.

How the evening goes

18:30 — Smell before you see. We start blind, with three pairs: a fresh flower and the perfumery material made from it. Rose next to rose. It reframes everything that follows.

18:45 — The foundations. Fragrance families, the pyramid, what an accord actually is. Twenty minutes, no jargon, then straight to the bench.

19:05 — Your perfume. Twenty raw materials, six top notes, seven heart notes, seven base notes. You test on blotters, you adjust, you go too far and pull it back. When it's right, you bottle it: 30 ml, hand-labelled, named by you.

20:10 — Your bouquet. Snakegarden takes over with the same grammar: your focal flower is your top note, the mass is your heart, the foliage is your base. You build the bouquet that says what your perfume says.

21:10 — The reveal. A blotter of your perfume goes into your bouquet. Everyone shares their name and their intention. This is the part people photograph.

• Your own 30 ml eau de parfum, hand-labelled with the name you chose

Included

A welcome glass of crémant or a botanical non-alcoholic alternative, drinks throughout, light snacks, all materials, both hosts, and an evening in a small group of no more than ten.

Good to know

• Language: English. or German - other language on request, just tell us at checkout.
• Level: Complete beginners welcome. Most of our guests have never done either.
• Group size: Up to 10 people. This date runs from 6 bookings; if we don't reach it we'll let you know and refund you in full.
• Pollen: Please tell us at checkout if you have hay fever or flower allergies, we'll adapt your materials.
• What to wear: Something you don't mind getting a little green. Flower stems are not tidy.
• Arrive: 10 minutes early. We start on time, and the opening is the best part.

Your hosts

Atelier Inspire is a perfume atelier founded in Munich, now in Berlin. We've built fragrance experiences for any type of customers, from the collectionnors to beginners, and taught several thousand people that they have a better nose than they think.

Snakegarden is Xenia's Berlin flower studio, known for arrangements that feel gathered rather than arranged, wild, textural, and completely unlike a shop bouquet.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the workshop. Within 7 days, flowers and materials are already ordered, we can move you to another date or you can send someone in your place. Gift cards are always transferable.

  Do I need any experience? None at all. Most people arrive convinced they have a bad nose and leave with a perfume they want to wear.

  What if I can only come with a friend? Book the duo! Two seats save you 49 €. This format works especially well as a date or a birthday for two.

  Can I choose the flowers? You choose from everything on the table. We source seasonally, so late September means dahlias, grasses, berried branches and dried textures, a very different palette from spring.

  I have hay fever. Can I still come? Yes. Tell us at checkout and we will build you a low-pollen selection with foliage, branches and dried material. Please also note that the perfume part involves concentrated materials, if you're sensitive to fragrance, write to us first.

  Will my perfume actually be good? It'll be yours, which is better. We guide every step, and nobody has ever left with something they didn't want to wear. You get the formula on a card, so if you love it we can remake it.

  Is the workshop in English or German? English by default, since Berlin groups are usually mixed. If you'd rather have German, say so at checkout, with enough requests we run the whole evening in German.

  Can I buy this as a gift? Yes, buy the seat and tell us at checkout, and we'll send a printed card instead of a plain confirmation. Our gift cards also work if you'd rather let them pick their own date.

  What happens if the date doesn't fill up? We run from 6 bookings. If we're short , we'll tell you straight away and refund in full, or move you to the next date, your choice.
