Summer at the Olympiapark: Atelier Inspire at the Sommerfestival 2026
Every summer, the Sommerfestival im Olympiapark turns Munich's Olympic Park into a giant open-air festival: rides, food stalls, music, themed weekends and fireworks. In 2026, the festival ran from 31 July to 23 August, and for the first time, Atelier Inspire was part of it.
Four Sundays of perfumery
We joined the festival on its four Sundays in August (2, 9, 16 and 23 August) with a perfume pop-up. The idea: take perfumery out of the studio and bring it to people who might never have thought of booking a perfume workshop. Visitors of all ages could smell real perfumery materials, discover the difference between top, heart and base notes, and get a taste of what it means to compose a fragrance by hand.
What we learned
A festival is the opposite of our quiet studio: loud, busy, spontaneous. And yet the same thing happened again and again. Someone stops, smells a blotter, and starts telling a story. A grandmother's garden, a holiday on the Côte d'Azur, the smell of the forest after rain. That moment, when a scent unlocks a memory, is exactly what our workshops are built around.
