Create Your Own Scent as a Couple.

Atelier Inspire's Wedding Scent Package is a private perfume workshop for couples in Munich. Over 2 to 2.5 hours, you and your partner each create your own bespoke Eau de Parfum with one-to-one guidance from a trained facilitator, using premium essences from Grasse. Up to two additional guests can join you. Prosecco, soft drinks, coffee and tea are included, and you both leave the same day with a finished, named and labelled bottle to wear on your wedding day. It takes place at our Perfume Bar, Schleißheimer Straße 74, 80797 Munich.

Why create your own wedding scent?

You'll choose the dress, the flowers, the music. Scent is the one detail that comes back uninvited, years later, the moment you open the bottle, because smell is processed in the same part of the brain that stores memory and emotion.

Most couples pick a wedding perfume off a department store shelf. The alternative is to spend a morning or an afternoon together building two fragrances that exist nowhere else, composed side by side so they belong to the same day without smelling the same.

Bring up to two guests if you'd like company: a maid of honour, a mother, a best man. They're welcome to sit in, smell along, and stay for a drink.

What happens during the wedding perfume workshop?

• A glass of prosecco to start. Arrive, settle in, and get a short introduction to the art of scent from your facilitator.
• Train your nose. Explore rare essences from Grasse, the world capital of fragrance, and learn how a fragrance is built.
• Build two scents, side by side. Each of you composes your own through top, heart, and base notes, with one-to-one guidance throughout and the option to weave a shared note through both.
• Name and bottle them. Leave with two ready-to-wear Eaux de Parfum, created, named, and labelled by you.
• The session takes 2 to 2.5 hours. It's an unhurried morning or afternoon by design.

Where the workshop takes place

The Wedding Scent Package takes place at the Atelier Inspire Perfume Bar, Schleißheimer Straße 74, 80797 Munich (Maxvorstadt / Schwabing-West). The nearest U-Bahn is Theresienstraße on the U2, a five-minute walk. Limited street parking is available nearby.

• Booking required, please reserve your preferred date and time so your facilitator and station are ready for you.
  
• As we work with concentrated fragrance ingredients and alcohol, the experience is not recommended during pregnancy.

• How much does a wedding perfume workshop for two cost in Munich?
  • The Atelier Inspire Wedding Scent Package starts at 199€ and includes two bespoke Eau de Parfum bottles, one for each partner, plus one-to-one expert guidance, prosecco and refreshments.
• How long does it take?
  • Between 2 and 2.5 hours. The session is private, so there's no fixed end time, and you're welcome to take longer.
• Can other people come with us?
  • Yes. Up to two additional guests can join you at no extra cost. They watch, smell along, and share the drinks. If a guest would like to create their own perfume, we can add a station for 105€. Please request it when booking.
• How far in advance should we book before the wedding?
  • We recommend booking the session at least four to six weeks before the wedding, so you have time to wear the scent and be certain of it before the day. Spring and summer dates book out early.
• Do we each get our own perfume, or one shared scent?
  • Each of you creates your own separate perfume. Many couples choose to run one shared note through both compositions so the two fragrances relate to each other. That's optional.
• Can we order more of our wedding perfume later?
  • Yes. You can keep both formulas on file, so you can re-order either scent at any time. Most couples come back around their first anniversary.
• Can the wedding perfume workshop be given as a gift?
  • Yes. The package is available as a voucher and is a common gift from parents, siblings, maid of honour and wedding parties looking for an alternative to a traditional wedding present.
• Is the workshop available in English?
  • Yes. Sessions are run in English, German and French. Just tell us your preference when booking.
• Is it suitable during pregnancy?
  • We don't recommend the experience during pregnancy, as we work with concentrated fragrance ingredients and alcohol.
• Do we need any experience with perfume?
  • No. No prior knowledge is needed. Your facilitator guides you through top, heart and base notes from the beginning.
